The use of images of the Federal Archives requires a completed "Request for Use" form ("Bundesarchiv-BPA-RequestforUse.pdf") which you will have to sign and send back to the Federal Archives per fax or e-mail.
We DON'T SEND PICTURES BY EMAIL or on CD!
To receive images from the Federal Archives please register in the Digital Picture Archive! Please be aware that the Federal Archives receive a large number of inquiries every day. Consequently, it may take up to four weeks to process your request. Please don't send us any renewed inquiries with the same contents since this produces increased administrative efforts and slows the processing down. Thank you!
